About the Role
We have a full time, fixed term opportunity for a Logistics Lead to join our Immunisation team in the Northern Region. Based in Te Tai Tokerau, reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, Te Tai Tokerau.
In this role, you will ensure all immunisation logistical requirements are provided in a timely and efficient manner that supports vaccination providers across the Northern Region to deliver on the immunisation schedule and programme of work.

The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.
About you
You are someone who comes with experience in supply chain management, inventory control and distribution. You have an understanding of National Cold Chain Guidelines and Management of these. You have excellent communication skills and be able to adapt information and complex ideas to a wide range of audiences.
- A relevant under-graduate qualification
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- Proven and accurate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Current full clean Driver's license
- Privacy Act 2020 and Health Information Privacy Code 2020
- Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
