Location: Wellington Regional Hospital or Hutt Hospital
Contract: Permanent, Part Time - 0.7 FTE (Rostered and Rotating)
Salary: MECA Grade 2 / Step 1 - $116,040 pro rata

About the Role
To develop the competency and capability of the nursing workforce, through the provision of core and speciality skill development and education in the Intensive Care Unit.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Wellington Regional Hospital is the tertiary referral centre for the lower North Island and upper South Island of New Zealand. This gives the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) a catchment population of approximately 1,100,000 and a geographic radius of 300km. The ICU has responsibility for delivery of care outside of ICU through our Patient at Risk Service, Trauma Team and Flight Service.
About you
- Must hold or be working towards a relevant postgraduate qualification in critical care
- 3-5 years intensive care nursing experience
- Interest in nursing education
- Significant progress on the PDRP
- Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)
- Expert clinical skills and relevant technical expertise, certification or credentials
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
