About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a senior nursing role in our Adult Acute Pain service, as part of an existing Clinical Nurse Specialist team. We are looking for a nurse who is seeking expanded practice on their horizon, who has already started their post graduate journey. You will be working as a member of the Adult Acute Pain Service in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

This is a part time position working 0.6 FTE, Monday to Sunday.

This service provides effective pain management for all medical/surgical, and woman’s health specialties and involves clinical assessment, management of patients with acute pain on advanced pain modalities, case management, teaching and quality assurance. Our aim is to facilitate effective pain management based on the best available evidence. This role require working weekends and public holidays.

About you

You will be an expert/senior nurse with relevant clinical experience and have a Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma or Masters in specialty nursing practice. You will have knowledge within both perioperative and surgical nursing and be keen to develop your career specialising in acute and persistent pain management for adult patients.
