The Intelligence Community Shared Services (ICSS) support the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) | Te Tira Tiaki and the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) | Te Pā Whakamarumaru in the achievement of individual and joint agency strategic and operational outcomes.

The roles

  • Facilities Coordinator: You are a great team player and come with a "can do" attitude, enjoy hands on and physical work. You will be the office all-rounder and the first point of contact within the facilities team. If you pride yourself in your customer service ethic, administration and coordinator skills, and attention to detail, then this role could be for you!

           - The salary appointment for this position is $61,647.

  • Facilities Advisor: This role requires understanding and knowledge of property and building systems, along with experience of core facilities services. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. You'll be expected to support facilities-related tasks and projects across our sites, ensuring they are fully operational, compliant and safe for our staff. Love a challenge? Apply now!

           - The appointment range for this position is $73,684 - $78,596 depending on experience.

With these roles, you may be needed to work across the Wellington region, and therefore a full clean driver's licence is required.  Occasional after-hours work may be required and there may be potential of short-term travel out of the Wellington region.

Before you apply

Working within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.

You must:

  • Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years

OR

Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years

  • Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
    • Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
