- Plan and deliver overall strategic and operational direction of programme of works
- Primary lead for off-site construction phase and relocations
- Permanent role at $183,249 + 5 weeks' annual leave and a suite of additional benefits
Te whiwhinga mahi - Our opportunity
The Programme Manager "plans the plan and then controls the flow of work". This role has overall responsibility for all aspects of off-site construction phase of the programme which will include continued optimisation, cost out opportunities, performance monitoring, proposals to increase output of the programme if required, as well as communications to providers.
This is a critical role to ensure programme delivery is aligned with strategic and operational direction of the non-commercial OSM Programme and completed on time, on budget and to required quality and legislative standards. Part of the role also involves identification of suitable retired homes to be relocated as a site clearance method.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
- Extensive experience working in the property or construction industry
- Significant and substantial experience managing multiple, complex projects concurrently, with the ability to prepare comprehensive and robust project plans which identify project risks and mitigation strategies
- A recognised Project Management qualification
- Demonstrated experience in contract management & negotiation
- Proven success in delivering to expectations with high volume work activities, especially for complex projects
- Sound understanding of all legislative requirements within the construction industry (3915, Healthy Homes Act etc.)
