In this role, you will be responsible for a range of day-to-day activities that support the team and keep things running smoothly.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate maintenance tasks, work orders, and contractor workflows.
- Conduct regular inspections and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
- Oversee contractor compliance, inductions, and performance reviews.
- Support WH&S initiatives and lead cleaning/security service meetings.
- Liaise with retailers, centre teams, and authorities to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage financial systems, contractor portals, and invoice processing.
- Assist with tenancy fit-outs, certifications, and project coordination.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and maintain incident reporting systems.
About You:
You are curious, driven, and highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. Your sound communication skills and customer focus will enable you to work through a variety of scenarios which can present in a retail environment.
- Experience in property or facilities management, ideally within shopping centre operations.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative, and meet deadlines.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
- Confidence in supporting emergency response and safety procedures.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
