Our client is entering an exciting phase of growth and is seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Electrical to lead the day-to-day operations of their electrical division. This role covers project delivery, team leadership, compliance, and support for estimation across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, job scheduling, and resource planning
- Ensure full compliance with EWRB regulations, AS/NZS 3000, and electrical safety standards
- Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure timely, safe project delivery
- Support estimation and quoting processes through drawing review and supplier coordination
- Manage operational budgets, labour, and materials
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electricians and apprentices
- Foster a strong health and safety culture
- Act as the main client contact for project updates and issue resolution
- Registered Electrician or Electrical Inspector (EWRB)
- Strong understanding of NZ electrical regulations and the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010
- Proven leadership experience in electrical operations
- Skilled in project coordination and quoting support
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full NZ Driver’s Licence
