Te Whatu Ora Waitematā is seeking a dynamic and visionary
Operations Manager
to lead our Older Adults and Integrated Community Services. This is a pivotal role within our
Specialty Medicine, Cancer and Integrated Care Division, supporting inpatient, outpatient, and community services across the Waitematā District.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will drive service excellence, equity, and innovation across a diverse portfolio including Gerontology Nursing, NASC, District Nursing, START, Ostomy and Continence services, and Community Administration. You will lead with a relational and strategic mindset, ensuring services are aligned with the principles of
Te Tiriti o Waitangi
and
Te Pae Tata.
You’ll work closely with clinical and operational leaders to deliver high-quality, equitable care, and foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operational delivery across Older Adults and Community Services
- Partner with clinical leaders to develop and implement service plans and models of care
- Drive performance against financial, quality, and equity targets
- Support and develop high-performing teams across multiple locations
- Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and service improvement
- Champion health equity and cultural safety in all aspects of service delivery
