Job Description

Lead a kaupapa Māori-driven regional service making real change for tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau. Mentor staff & deliver values-based support.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a dedicated regional team delivering therapeutic and wraparound services for tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau. If you’re an experienced leader who thrives on building relationships, empowering people, and making a tangible difference, this could be your next big move.

Working within a values-driven, tangata Tiriti organisation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping services that embed mātauranga Māori and Pasifika knowledge alongside evidence-based practice. Your leadership will ensure services remain culturally responsive, operationally strong, and true to the values of aroha, manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and wairuatanga.

What We’re Looking For:

Leaderful – You have the ability to inspire, develop, and grow a high-performing team. You will recruit, mentor, and support staff while embedding a strong team culture.

Community & Relationship Focused – You understand the importance of trusted partnerships with iwi, Oranga Tamariki, and other key stakeholders, and you can build credibility in the region.

Culturally Competent – You understand Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Māori and Pasifika worldviews, and can integrate these into leadership and service delivery.

Operationally Strong – You’re strategic, organised, and comfortable managing budgets, contracts, and service frameworks to ensure excellence in delivery.

What’s in it for You?
