Job Title: Orchard Data Specialist & AI Support Technician

Hours: Approx. 40 per week, with potential for more during peak season

About the Role:

We're looking for tech-savvy individuals to join our team for the busy season starting in September and running through March. You'll operate high-tech equipment in kiwifruit orchards and help process data to create reports. You'll also assist in improving our AI models by labeling images.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate an ATV with data-capture technology in orchards.
• Ensure all equipment is running smoothly.
• Process data and generate reports.
• Label images to enhance AI models.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience with ATVs or similar vehicles.
• A valid NZ driver's license.
• Comfort with technical equipment and data entry.
• Strong computer skills and quick learning abilities.
• Familiarity with advanced IT skills (e.g., command line, scripting) is a plus.

Additional Information:

• Most work will be in the Bay of Plenty, with occasional travel.
• All necessary equipment and training will be provided.
