We are looking for an Organisational Capability Adviser to join our friendly and talented Organisational Capability team.

As an Organisational Capability Adviser, you will play a key role in leading and supporting our busy work programme on a range of programmes, initiatives and tools that support areas including capability building, employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion as well as wellbeing. This is a new adviser position where you will gain great exposure to a range of initiatives that support our employee experience including:

  • Collaborating closely with the People and Capability team and stakeholders across the Commission to deliver high quality learning solutions including e-learning and digital content aligned with our work programme
  • Working alongside our Senior Advisors to enhance our frameworks in learning and organisational development.
  • Delivery, analysis and communication of our regular employee engagement initiative
  • Facilitating inhouse workshops for induction and relevant learning initiatives

The indicative salary range for this role is $75,922 - $89,320 plus 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects their individual skills, experience, and internal relativities across the organisation.

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience at an adviser level within an organisational development context
  • Experience in adult learning methodologies and design thinking
  • A self-starter and excellent relationship builder – proven experience building credible and trusted relationships
  • An analytical thinker who keeps up to date with best practice trends, understands metrics and can interpret data
  • Self-motivated to stay up to date with trends in digital learning and organisational development themes to help support continuous improvement across the organisation
  • Confidence to take the lead and persist when faced with challenges
  • Experience in developing engaging internal communications
