Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Personal Assistant / Business Support Coordinator provides high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the Director Asset Management, while coordinating centralised business support for the wider team. This role is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through effective diary and email management, document handling, and travel coordination.
You'll act as a central point of contact for the Asset Management team, manage internal and external communications for the Director, and support general financial processes including cost centre budgets and reporting for the team. You'll also oversee event coordination, contribute to process improvements, and ensure official correspondence and requests are tracked and managed appropriately.
This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong working relationships, and takes pride in delivering professional and efficient support.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- The ability to remain composed and effective in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Extensive experience in administrative support, with strong knowledge of business systems and processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software, with the ability to quickly learn new tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong numerical and organisational abilities.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain effective filing and processing systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and manage competing priorities confidently.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $79,495 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $67,571 - $95,394 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
