Paediatrics Coordinator, Nelson Hospital, Fixed term Full-time

About the Role
As a Paediatrics Coordinator,you will support access to service for neurodiverse children by bringing together the information that will assist in formation of plans that work. You will use your clinical background in the completion of assessments across a variety of settings and support the delivery of programmes to make a difference.
You will work with the multidisciplinary team including administration services to enhance the whanau and family experience. Your experience will help shape service delivery.
This is a challenging area so you will understand and be able to connect with community resources as necessary and appropriate. Child safeguarding is part of your professional fabric.
This is a fixed term role for 12 months, working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) Monday to Friday 8.00AM to 4.30PM
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our multidisciplinary team includes paediatricians, allied health, nursing, administration who all contribute to child and whanau centric care.
The role is district wide so you must have the ability to spend time at both Nelson and Wairau with greater efficacy achieving by staying over as appropriate. Alternatively, as the role is district wide we are open to part time applications based in either Wairau or Nelson.

About you
As a Paediatrics Coordinator, you will:
- Be a registered health professional (advanced practice preferred),
- Have experience working with children exhibiting neurodiversity,
- Be a self starter, show initiative, be clear about your strengths and where and how you can contribute to service delivery and development,
- Be confident working with data and outcomes focused,
- Be resilient and resourceful.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
