About the Role
- Health New Zealand Lakes is seeking a Palliative Care Physician with a passion for improving the quality of life for their patients through Palliative Medicine.
- The role requires you to work across a range of acute inpatient services and ambulatory services including clinics, hospice and patient’s homes.

About you
The ideal candidate for this role will have an interest in further developing specialist services to meet the needs of a rapidly growing and culturally diverse population.
Therefore, it is essential to have capability in delivering specialist services:
- to people and whanau who are experiencing a life limiting condition.
- Have experience in the acute hospital setting
- Has a focus on equitable services and health outcomes
- Actively participate in the education and training of under graduate and post graduate medical and nursing staff
