About the role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, work closely with leaders across the business, acting as a key point of contact for all things HR. The role spans employment relations, engagement, onboarding, development, and performance support—with the chance to get involved in broader people projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties
- Provide advice and coaching to leaders across performance, conduct, and ER matters
- Manage onboarding and induction, ensuring new employees are set up for success
- Support talent initiatives – succession planning, development programs, and employee engagement
- Assist with recruitment and internal movement processes
- Maintain HR policies, templates, and reporting
- Collaborate on health & safety, wellness, and culture initiatives
Skills & experience
- Previous experience in a HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
- Solid knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practices
- Confident supporting managers on ER, performance, and policy matters
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
