Mō te tūnga | About the role

Performance Analytics is responsible for the production, analysis and reporting of performance information internally and externally. As a Performance Analyst, you will support the ELT (Executive Leadership Team) and business customers to understand strategic and operational performance and support decision making, through the provision of integrated performance reporting against agreed performance indicators.

You will draw on your experience and knowledge base to contribute to the development of key performance indicators, processes and tools to support business activities.

Mōu | About you 

To be successful in the role you will have significant demonstratable analysis and problem-solving capability, and a high-level of experience in performance monitoring and reporting to executive level, with an understanding of key business drivers and operational implications.

Knowledge and practical experience in the design and development of operational and strategic performance reporting is also key, along with strong relationship management and communication skills.

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving capability.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of computer applications including proficiency with Microsoft Office and its functions, Excel in particular.
  • Experienced in preparing timely and accurate performance reporting and key insights against a range of performance measures.
  • Experienced in interpreting performance indicator trends into meaningful business information, providing analytical, technical, and advisory support for decision-making.
  • Experienced in non-financial data collection and reporting processes.
  • Experienced in the development of key systems or processes to improve the timeliness, quality and strategic value of performance indicators and reporting.
  • Experienced in supporting the planning and implementation of reporting frameworks, and providing input into external accountability documents (Budget, Annual Report, Strategic Intentions).

Utu ā-tau | Salary

The midpoint of the salary band is $106,789 and the full range (85% to 120%) is $90,771 - $128,147. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
