Personal Assistant, Nelson Hospital, Permanent Full time
- As the PA for the Intensive Care, Anaesthetics &
Perioperative teams you will be working in a positive and proactive
environment, supporting the clinical teams.

- The position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am - 6pm based on the Nelson Hospital site.

About the Role
As a Personal Assistant, you will be based inside a busy hospital environment working with executives, senior doctors, departmental heads, nurses and patients on a daily basis in the intensive care and anaesthesia areas. You - ll assist with secretarial tasks and general office administration.
It is based in Nelson Hospital.
About the Team/Service/ Location
You will be supporting a team of 20 Senior Medical Staff and the Perioperative nursing/technician team at Nelson Hospital.

About you
As a Personal Assistant, you will:
- Have a mature outlook with the desire to help people in the workplace,
- Be able to multi task, no two days will be the same,
- Be able to manage conflict demands in a busy environment,
- Be a confident, motivated self-starter who is friendly, supportive, and positive,
- Possess strong organisational and project management skills,
- Be able to remain calm in fast paced, high demanding situations whilst applying flexibility,
- Apply confidentiality and discretion at a senior level,
- Take initiative and be proactive as well as prioritise your own workflow towards meeting deadlines,
- Have proven experience of minute taking, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite,
It will be an advantage if you have previous PA/secretarial experience ideally within the health sector or complex environment.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
