We have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated and enthusiastic NZ qualified pharmacy technician (level 5) to join our Outpatient Pharmacy teams at North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. We provide a patient-focussed and technologically-innovative pharmacy service.

About the Role
As an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician working for Health New Zealand, Waitematā District, you will be supporting the Outpatient Pharmacy teams, undertaking a wide variety of operational tasks, including but not limited to dispensing, compounding, stock control, over the counter sales, assisting with vaccinations and managing ‘front of house’ in the pharmacy. This is a part time permanent position, working 24 hours per week during Wednesday to Friday with occasional rostered Saturdays at our North Shore Hospital site.

We are a friendly team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, with over 100 staff across several sites, who work together to provide a patient-focussed and technologically-innovative pharmacy service. This position offers a great opportunity to work with our Outpatient Pharmacy teams.

About you
- National Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician) issued by the NZ Qualifications Authority – level 5
- Community pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential as we can provide training to the right person.
- A resourceful, organised, friendly team player
- A positive attitude with a good sense of humour
- Keen and motivated for training and further learning
