About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay.
As an integral member of our Pharmacy team, you will be involved in tasks such as:
- Timely and efficient of supply of medicines to wards via impresting processes
- Maintenance of medications in automatic dispensing cabinets
- Dispensing of inpatient and outpatient prescriptions
- Contribute to the cost-effective use of medicines and reduce waste of pharmaceuticals
About the Team/Service/ Location
We are a collaborative and supportive team looking for a colleague who shares our values of Respect, Partnership, Care and Improvement.
We have a growing team of Clinical Pharmacists who work mainly out on the wards, as well as a supportive team of Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants.
The technician team includes a number of specialised roles, e.g. PACT, Medicine History, and Dispensary Team Leader, which may become opportunities to help you advance your career and keep your passion for pharmacy thriving.

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person with excellent communication skills, a strong team focus and desire to provide a quality service.
You will hold a NZ qualification as a Pharmacy Technician.
