The Role You’ll be working across a broad scope of plumbing services – no two days are the same. From general maintenance to major installations, this is a hands-on role with real variety and responsibility.
Core Duties:
- Repair and replace leaky taps, valves, pipes, and fixtures
- Install toilets, basins, bathtubs, hot water systems, and heating units
- Clear blocked drains and perform CCTV inspections
- Conduct roof repairs and maintain stormwater/spouting systems
- Service and install water filters and backflow prevention devices
- Complete pre-purchase plumbing inspections
- Gasfitting: Install and service appliances, central heating, etc.
- Drainlaying: Drain installation, repair, and maintenance
- Electrical tasks: In some locations, assist with lighting and basic electrical installs
- HVAC systems: Installation and servicing where required
- Involvement in design and build of hydraulic systems
- Work on commercial fit-outs and upgrades
- Undertake scheduled preventative maintenance
- Provide top-quality customer service and technical advice
- Licensed or certifying plumber (or working towards full NZ registration)
- Skilled in residential and/or commercial plumbing
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently
- Comfortable communicating with clients and team members
- Valid NZ driver’s license
