We seek a proven PMO Lead / PMO Manager to join a current programme and which is to replace legacy HRIS and Payroll systems with a modern, integrated digital platform, transforming employee experience, process efficiency, and data insights.
The PMO Lead will serve as the engine room of programme coordination, scheduling, assurance, and governance support — a pivotal role in ensuring this initiative meets its strategic, financial, and compliance commitments.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish and lead a purpose-fit PMO framework tailored to the Programme and public sector context
• Oversee integrated programme planning, scheduling, dependency and resource management and progress tracking, across a multi-workstream programme.
• Lead risk, issue, and change control processes, and support assurance readiness (e.g. Gateway Reviews)
• Provide quality reporting and insights to governance forums and senior stakeholders
• Support financial oversight and vendor delivery tracking, including coordination of key programme meetings
• Own document control standards, artefact management, and compliance alignment
Ideal Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
• 7+ years in PMO or Programme Management roles within complex, public sector environments
• Direct involvement in HRIS, payroll or large ERP systems implementation
• Strong knowledge of PPM methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile); certifications preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in governance frameworks, assurance readiness and public sector reporting
• Outstanding skills in planning, stakeholder engagement, documentation and team leadership
