Product Owner

We are seeking a Product Owner who must hold a high level NZSIS / NZDF / NZ Govt security clearance.
 
Ideally you will bring 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a tech environment....

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams is a strong plus.

Your tasks would include:
 
Product Strategy & Vision

• Translate business goals and user needs into a clear product vision and roadmap.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor products to inform product direction.

Agile Product Ownership

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritised, and aligned with sprint goals.
• Quality control user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the voice of the customer during development, ensuring the team builds the right product. 

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Make real-time decisions to clarify requirements and unblock development

To be considered your Security Clearance must be valid
