Production Labourer - Confectionary

The Role

Work in a small family-owned business in Kelvin Grove manufacturing confectionery. Duties would include:

• Following recipes and weighing ingredients.
• Using machinery to mix and prepare products.
• Manually rolling nougat.
• Lifting baskets weighing up to and above 15kgs.
• Occasional packing of completed product into cartons.

Days & Hours

3.15pm - 11.45pm. 

Monday to Friday

Please note the first few shifts will be on the morning shift while training is completed.

Required Attributes

• Experienced and comfortable in repetitive work
• Comfortable working alongside others
• Comfortable lifting heavy products (up to 25kgs)
• An interest in learning more about the food manufacturing business

For the past 40 years, our locally-owned client has been producing confectionary in the Palmerston North region. The Father & Son team have now grown the business into the modern production era, becoming a nationwide distributor for their famous products.
