As a Production Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing and maintaining equipment, supporting production operations, and ensuring all activities meet GMP and safety standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where precision, reliability, and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve production targets through:
- Performing day-to-day activities related to the production processes
- Recording all work and test results accurately and in real-time
- Supporting routine plant checks and water sampling
- Cleaning, preparing, and making equipment available as per schedule
- Supervising Assistant Technicians in equipment-related duties
- Participating in continuous improvement projects
- Assisting with warehouse operations and production waste handling
- Reviewing and updating SOPs and BPS documents
- Adhering to all GMP and site quality management procedures
- Participating in internal quality audits
- Maintaining clean and compliant workspaces
- Attending all required safety and awareness training
- Participating in safety audits and reporting hazards/incidents
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and strong focus on documentation accuracy
- Confident with computers and good math skills
- Highly organised and process-driven
- A reliable team player with a proactive mindset
- NZ resident or citizen
