Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role
We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2026, for an experienced Programme Administrator to provide essential operational support to the Rehab and Treatment Programme (RTP), ensuring the smooth running of governance processes, budget tracking, and day-to-day coordination. From managing travel and diaries to preparing meeting packs and maintaining SharePoint, you'll be the go-to person for keeping things running efficiently.
You'll also support communication and documentation across the programme, helping ensure that the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
The role will ideally be based in Wellington, Hamilton or Auckland.

Ko wai koe | About you
You're a highly organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring:
- Proven prior experience in programme or project administration, executive support, or coordination roles
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience in public sector transformation programmes (highly desirable)
- Experience in financial tracking or budget support (preferred but not essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and support senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership in applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the design of policies, systems, and processes
You'll be someone who takes pride in keeping things on track, enabling others to focus on delivery, and ensuring the programme runs smoothly behind the scenes.

The base salary range for this role is $64,000 - $89,923 with appointment depending on skills and experience plus a generous 9% super contribution.
