Job Description

We are looking for an experienced public sector Programme Director, with a current Top-Secret Security Clearance (TSV) or above (TSS).
 
This is an Hourly Rate contract in Wellington, and a unique opportunity to develop meaningful work for one of our Government Agencies.  (It is NOT a technology project)
 
ABOUT THE ROLE:
 
Role:                 Programme Director, with a current TSV or TSSV NZ Security Clearance
Rate:                 Neg. hourly rate
Duration:          Initial 12-month contract + further extension/s (indicative 2 year Programme)
Hours:               Full working week
Location:           Wellington; mainly office-based
Start:                Ideally before Christmas 2023
The work:        A business transformation / organisational design programme, which is happening for good reasons rather than cut-backs!   Early stages so an opportunity to shape, run & deliver the programme.  You’ll develop the PID, pull together the governance for the programme, and steer the programme across the course of the next 2 years ahead, with the programme team reporting directly to you.
 
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • ESSSENTIAL: You need to currently hold a NZ Security Clearance which is at least Top-Secret (TSV) level, or higher (TSS)
  • ESSSENTIAL: An experienced NZ public sector Programme Director, able to demonstrate successfully delivering programmes
  • ESSSENTIAL: Exceptional ‘soft’ skills: an inspiring people leader, calm, kind, grounded, influencing softly, high EQ.
