The Ministry of Justice provides essential services that underpin New Zealand's legal system. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver key projects that will enhance justice services across New Zealand. This is an important role where you will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success from inception through to completion.
In this role, you will:
- plan, execute, and monitor a wide range of projects related to asset renewal and building condition
- manage project scope, timelines, and resources to meet project objectives
- monitor project budgets, track expenditure, and ensure financial accountability
- collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including judiciary, to ensure alignment with Ministry objectives
- provide clear and transparent project reporting and ensure effective risk management.

To be successful in the role you will have:
- solid experience in the areas of building design, construction, and infrastructure, with a strong understanding of project management principles
- experience in developing and maintaining detailed project plans, using project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2)
- ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
- a sound understanding of All of Government project management principles is desirable but not essential
- an understanding and appreciation of cultural issues and concerns in particular Tikanga Maori.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $111,766 and $154,680 based on skills and experience.
