About the Role
As a Project Manager (PATH), you will drive and implement change, working collaboratively within clinical and operational teams ensuring seamless transition for patients into programmes such as Hospital in the Home, expanded community rehabilitation services and criteria-led discharge pathways .
This role is fixed term, full-time for 24 months working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0), Monday to Friday. There is no on-call required.

Working on Project Whakatupuranga, the Nelson Hospital redevelopment, means directly contributing to a brighter future for the community. This project is set on improving access to modern healthcare models for our evolving population. As a member of this team, you'll be instrumental in shaping a design that integrates streamlined processes and advanced technology, ultimately enriching the experience for patients, their whānau, and staff across Te Tau Ihu (Top of the South) for generations.

About you
As a Project Manager (PATH), you will:
- Be highly organised and results oriented,
- Have a passion for sustainable change,
- Have high levels of motivation, initiative and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively,
- Be able to identify risk and provide solutions to problems,
- Can adapt to changing situations and unexpected challenges,
- Have experience in managing complex healthcare projects,
- Be familiar with PMP or PRINCE2.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
