Job Description
Tāmaki Regeneration Company (TRC) is leading one of the most ambitious urban regeneration projects in Aotearoa, delivering 10,500 new homes alongside thriving communities, upgraded infrastructure, and economic opportunities. TRC is seeking a Project Reporting & PMO Support Lead to bring clarity, consistency, and connection across its programmes. This is a unique opportunity to step into a role that goes beyond reporting. You will build relationships, support governance, and ensure delivery momentum across both housing development and wider organisational projects.
About the role:
Sitting at the center of TRC’s PMO, the Project Reporting & PMO Support Lead will play a pivotal role in connecting projects, people, and insights. The role will consolidate project information across Development and other internal TRC initiatives, track milestones, and ensure the right detail reaches the right people at the right time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strengthening governance reporting and keeping stakeholders informed on project progress
- Identifying risks or delays early and providing independent assurance
- Connecting the dots across projects to extract insights and highlight priorities
- Applying and embedding TRC’s PMO framework consistently across the organisation
- Supporting teams to maximise tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
- Streamlining reporting processes to enable managers to focus on delivery
- Driving continuous improvement by embedding lessons learned into future projects
- This role goes far beyond data collection—it requires interpreting information, asking great questions, challenging assumptions, and escalating when risks need attention.
Who you will be:
You are analytical, proactive, and highly collaborative, with proven experience in project reporting, monitoring, or PMO support. You know how to gather and validate information from multiple sources, distil it into meaningful insights, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. With a sharp eye for detail and the ability to identify risks early, you thrive in complexity and ambiguity, striking the right balance between structure and adaptability. Your strong stakeholder management and influencing skills help you bring people on the journey and ensure alignment across projects. Most importantly, you are motivated by a genuine passion for making a difference and by TRC’s kaupapa to deliver 10,500 homes and build a thriving Tāmaki for generations to come.
Why join TRC?
Join a high performing team and a dynamic organisation, who is truly making a difference in the community. TRC also offers:
- 5 weeks’ annual leave
- Health and life insurance
- Wellbeing benefits
- Flexible working (4 days on-site, 1 day WFH)
