Mō te tūnga | About the role
As a key member of the Palmerston North psychology team, you'll be based in New Plymouth within the Community Corrections office. This role offers autonomy, allowing you to work independently while being responsible for coverage at Whanganui Prison and community. Weekly travel to Whanganui will be required, with expenses covered by the Department. There may also be some virtual client contact from the New Plymouth office. You'll receive extensive support from the Palmerston North team and the psychologists already based in New Plymouth. In this role, you will have the opportunity to dive into diverse clinical tasks, specialising in assessing and therapeutic intervention with people at high-risk of reoffending and contribute to trauma-informed care. Your role is crucial in addressing complex challenges, working with motivated individuals for positive change. Ngā painga | The benefits
The salary range for the role is $83,286 - $133,370. Frontline Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances and allocated professional development funding. We may also offer flexible and/or part-time options for working hours. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
