About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Registered Psychologist who has experience in Child and Adolescent mental health and addictions, as well as experience or understanding of our Te Tai Tokerau rangatahi population.

About the Service

Te Roopu Kimiora is a secondary care mental health service seeing young people/rangatahi from birth to 18 years of age, who have severe to moderate mental health concerns. We work closely alongside the young person and their whānau to achieve goals that are set collaboratively so they can live to their fullest potential.

About you

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board
  • Provide a high standard of clinical psychology practice and expertise
  • Working knowledge of and commitment to Tikanga
  • Working knowledge of key child and adolescent issues and psychopathology
