Are you a proactive, detail-oriented QA professional with a passion for delivering high-quality software and ensuring smooth, error-free development and deployment?

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead a dynamic QA team, driving testing excellence across multiple platforms, including mobile, web, and service-oriented architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small, fast paced and proactive QA and Automation team to ensure software is tested, secure, reliable, and delivered cost-effectively to exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with QA Leadership and software suppliers to oversee robust, controlled testing and smooth implementation of software changes.
  • Oversee quality assurance of processes and ensure all procedures are appropriate and well-documented.
  • Lead QA planning and execution across various delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, V-Model).
  • Ensure integration and end-to-end testing of service-oriented architecture and integration layers.
  • Promote continuous improvement in QA processes and best practices, particularly around automation and test management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of QA team management experience in a structured IT environment.
  • A strong understanding of Test Management principles and procedures.
  • A passion for excellent customer service and user experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing QA testing for mobile applications, websites, and integration technologies.
  • Proven experience testing service-oriented architecture solutions.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of change control, quality systems, and software development practices.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a disciplined environment with high standards of security, integrity, and accountability.

All candidates must be currently based in Auckland with full NZ working rights (NZ Citizen/NZ Permanent Resident) with the availability to work in Auckland city fringe 3x days per week.
