About the Role
As a Resident Medical Officer Recruiter, you are responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing doctors in hospitals and healthcare facilities. They manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including identifying qualified RMOs, coordinating interviews, handling compliance and credentialing, and negotiating contracts.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The RMO unit operates as a dedicated team of medical professionals, coordinators, and administrative staff who work collaboratively to ensure efficient scheduling, compliance, and support for Resident Medical Officers, enabling seamless healthcare delivery within the hospital

About you
As a Resident Medical Officer Recruiter, you will consider yourself a recruitment and administrator superstar with strong experience in providing excellent administrative support, communication and outstanding organisational skills. They should have advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Knowledge in project management and data analysis will be a bonus. Previous experience in similar roles is desirable
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Experience with Medical Council of New Zealand policies or processes is highly desirable but not essential.
- Significant previous experience managing recruiting processes in a large organisation or relevant recruitment agency experience
