Your Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a dedicated workshop, focusing on stripping, repairing, and overhauling mechanical and ancillary equipment, with a large focus on refrigeration and cooling systems.
- Accurately service and install products to ensure long-term performance and reliability, eliminating the need for reworks.
- Assess disassembled parts to determine reusability and plan the best approach for each job.
- Adhere to all quality guidelines, procedures, and testing requirements to ensure superior results.
- Manage tasks to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and achieve the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace and complete all necessary paperwork to a high standard.
- Essential: 3–5 years’ experience in the installation or repair of refrigeration systems, including cold rooms, transport refrigeration, industrial plants, compressors, and condenser coils.
- A recognised qualification in refrigeration or air conditioning (Certificate, Degree, or Diploma).
- A valid disconnector/reconnector certificate.
- Strong brazing skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- NZ residency or citizenship
- Be part of an international team working on exciting large-scale refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical projects.
