We are seeking a Regional Service Programme Manager to join our team for a 6-month
secondment or 6 months Fixed-Term opportunity within the Regional Programme Office.
This short-term opportunity offers a chance to contribute to the delivery of high-impact regional health services, including neurosurgery, spinal, and vascular programmes. You will work closely with Clinical Chairs, senior managers, and stakeholders across the five Districts within Te Waipounamu to support the implementation of regional services and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support regional clinical service networks and workstreams.
- Collaborate with Clinical Leads to deliver programme milestones.
- Promote integration across Districts and other agencies.
- Identify risks and propose solutions to maintain programme momentum.
- Contribute to the reputation of the Regional Programme Office as a trusted and professional entity.
About you
- Proven experience in the health or social sector at a senior level.
- Strong relationship management and facilitation skills.
- Project and programme management expertise.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity in health.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
