About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Professional to join our Tauranga Adolescent Mental Health team, based in the heart of the city at 290 Cameron Road. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a highly skilled and collaborative multidisciplinary service delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care for rangatahi aged 13-18 and their whānau.
This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant and collaborative, multi-disciplinary team that applies high-standard therapeutic models and embraces a holistic view of wellness. Adolescent Mental Health is part of the wider Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, comprising nursing, occupational therapy, social work, psychiatry, psychology, and administrative support. We apply therapeutic models to a high standard, integrating neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed approaches. Our team values a whānau and community-connected model of care, delivering services in homes, schools, community settings, and our city-based clinic.
We foster a culture of learning and support, offering opportunities for professional growth, supervision, and involvement in academic teaching and student placements.
As a Case Manager, you will undertake comprehensive therapeutic assessments and deliver treatment interventions, lead treatment planning and coordinate care for assigned young people, and work in partnership with rangatahi, whānau, and community agencies to support recovery and wellbeing.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the wellbeing of rangatahi and dedicated to whānau-centred mental health care. You will bring a calm, flexible, and empathic approach to your mahi, and you are confident working in partnership with whanau experiencing acute challenges or complex presentations.

About You
You're a Registered Mental Health Professional (Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker) with experience in mental health. You thrive in a team environment, have strong communication skills, and bring a calm, flexible, and empathic approach. Most importantly, you have a genuine commitment to whānau-centred and culturally safe care for rangatahi experiencing acute or complex challenges.
