About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven registered nurse to join our vibrant and innovative nurse-led Assessment Planning Unit (APU) this is a permanent full-time position working 1 FTE. You will join a skilled and knowledgeable nurse team aiming for high-quality patient care. The position is based at the Tauranga Hospital.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Join the dynamic and fast-paced Assessment Planning Unit (APU).
APU provides assessment and treatment for acutely unwell patients admitted by GPs or from the Emergency Department. With 24 beds, 8 ambulatory chairs, and a skilled team of staff, you'll gain valuable experience managing a variety of health conditions. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your nursing assessment and planning skills in a supportive environment.

The ideal successful applicant will:
- Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Have a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Work effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure team nursing environment
- Demonstrate good organisational and communication skills
- Demonstrate a safe clinical practice
- Demonstrate a calm demeanour and a good sense of humour
- Be looking to become part of a team and is a team player
