Contract:  0.8 fte Fixed term (covering parental leave 9 until December 2025) and a permanent 0.8 position (do advise in your covering letter the role of interest)

About the role

As a Registered Nurse working in the Wellington Blood & Cancer Centre (WBCC), you will provide specialised nursing care and treatments to cancer patients, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood transfusions. You will manage symptoms, provide emotional support to patients and their whanau, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored care plans to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

About the Team/Service/ Location

The Wellington Blood & Cancer Centre (WBCC) incorporates the specialties of Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Clinical Haematology into an integrated regional and supra-regional cancer service for both inpatients and outpatients.  Services provided in WBCC include specialist consultation and treatment for referred Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Haematology patients either in Wellington or outreach clinics.

The WBCC team is a hardworking, friendly and supportive team who are passionate about providing a high level of care to patients accessing cancer services.
