Location: Hutt Hospital
Contract: Fixed term Contract, Part Time 0.8 FTE Rostered and Rotating. Parental leave cover from July 2025 to April 2026.

About the Role
We currently have a Registered Nurse role in the Children's Ward at Hutt Valley Hospital - Fixed term, part- time position 0.8 FTE is available to cover parental leave from July 2025 to April 2026. We are looking for nurses who have a passion for working with infants/children/adolescents and their families.
The Children's Ward is a busy multi-speciality area where you will have the opportunity to care for acute medical and surgical patients and develop specialised skills in burns and plastics surgery nursing.
It is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work in partnership with babies/children/adolescents and their families.

The Children's Ward at Hutt Hospital is a busy ward with quality driven, patient focused environment and dynamic and supportive team. Team members are professional and friendly. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach to provide best outcomes for our patients.

About you.
Applicants should have:
- A Current Practicing Certificate
- At least 2 years of Paediatric experience
- Are team focused and have positive attitude
- Have high standard of communication skills
- Have passion for working with infants/children/adolescents and their families
