About the Role

Right now, we - re looking for a Registered Nurse with lots of experience behind them to join the district nursing team.   You - ll enjoy the flexibility of a role where you get to assess and develop care plans that support the rehabilitation and recovery of patients in their homes. 

The role works closely across a multi-disciplinary team including, Allied Health, Needs Assessment, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Palliative Care Nurses and Primary Care providers and forms an integral part of the District Nursing team.

About You

We invite Registered Nurses with previous community experience and/or a passion for providing care that supports people in their own homes.  Other attributes for this role include;

  • Ability to prioritise workload and supervise and delegate to care staff (such as Enrolled Nurses and Clinical Associates)
  • Delivery of a safe and effective patient focused service
  • Right to work in New Zealand
  • Have a current practicing certificate
  • Full current New Zealand drivers licence
  • The right to work in New Zealand
