About the role

An exciting opportunity to work with Pacific people, their families and the Pacific community. We are looking for an experienced registered Nurse to join our specialist team to provide cultural and clinical mental health care for our Pacific people.

About the Team/Service/ Location

We are a small dynamic team working with Pacific people and families. We are a diverse team from different ethnic backgrounds, we share the same passion in delivering quality care. We are welcoming, culturally grounded, humorous, professional and outgoing. Spiritual aspect is part of who we are within our work.

About you

We are looking for a registered Nurse with good English and written communication skills and you must be able to adapt and work collaboratively as a team.

You will be able to adapt to different ethnic groups, have knowledge and understanding of Pacific health models and needs. 

You will have excellent time management and people skills.  You will be able to be involved in community networks and have the ability to work under stress. Advantage of being fluent in a Pacific language or other Pacific cultures.

Opportunities are provided in training to further develop within your role.

You must have:

  • A full driver - s license 
  • Hold a current practicing certificate.
