About the Role

Join a team of skilled Registered Nurses with recent experience in critical care.  Based in our integrated 20-bed Intensive Care, Coronary Care, and High Dependency Unit, this role provides the opportunity to work with patients requiring advanced cardiac, high-dependency, and intensive care nursing.

This fixed term role working 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) offers exposure to a wide variety of clinical presentations in a supportive, fast-paced environment.  With a new 20-bed Coronary Unit opening in the coming months, it's an exciting time to be part of our growing service.

You will be part of a dedicated and highly skilled critical team committed to excellence under pressure.  Located at Tauranga Hospital, the unit offers a collaborative and development-focused environment in one of New Zealand's most sought-after coastal regions.

About you

To be successful in the role, we are looking for a motivated, compassionate nurse with the confidence to work in a high acuity setting and the adaptability to respond to the changing needs of patients and the wider team.

What you will bring:

  • Current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate
  • A minimum of two years' post-registration nursing experience
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A calm, positive mindset and willingness to contribute meaningfully in a dynamic clinical environment
