Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park.

Counties Manukau District is a dynamic and progressive organisation at the forefront of innovative health care delivery within the New Zealand Public Health Sector.
Acute Community Mental Health Services offers opportunities to develop new skills while working with adults who are acutely unwell and need of urgent and immediate assistance from a secondary mental health service.
We work with a unique and growing multi-cultural population and can guarantee that you will be continually stimulated and challenged. Our team offers an acute intake and assessment service and a home based treatment service. We work across a range of different environments including; homes in the community, Community Mental Health Centres, Emergency Department and the Police Station. Our service is operational 24 hours a day and shift work is required. Full time or part time positions available.
We are looking for motivated Registered Nurses (RNs)to come on board and work with our supportive multi-disciplinary team. Working within a culturally diverse environment our RNs are able to communicate and support our service users and whaanau to ensure that a high standard of care is provided.

Essential:
- New Zealand Registered Psychiatric or Comprehensive Nurse or eligible for registration
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate to work in Mental Health
- Desire to gain experience in Acute Mental Health
- Full & Current NZ Driver's Licence
Desired:
- Minimum of 2 years working within a mental health setting
