About the Role
Step into a role where no two days are the same. We are looking for two adaptable and capable Registered Nurses to join our Nursing Resource Team at Whakatāne Hospital, working on a rostered shift basis across a wide range of services.
The position is ideal for a Registered Nurses who thrives on variety and brings strong clinical reasoning to every shift. Deployed daily by the Duty Nurse Manager, the role supports short notice leave and daily service fluctuations across the hospital.
A thorough orientation to all specialty areas is provided. It is a brilliant way to broaden knowledge and open future career pathways.

About you
This role calls for a Registered Nurse who is adaptable, confident, and comfortable working across multiple acute care environments. A background that includes medical, surgical, orthopaedics, ICU/HDU, or ED is essential. Experience in paediatrics, maternity, or neonatal care is valued but not required.
