Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking for a fulfilling part-time opportunity? Join our dynamic Outpatients Department, where you’ll make a significant impact on patient care while enjoying a flexible work schedule. We are seeking registered nurses to join the Outpatient team. This position is primarily based at Waitakere; however, it will include rostered shifts and/ or additional shifts at the North Shore site as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide clinical care and assistance to patients and their families attending clinic appointments
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Supporting and assisting medical, orthopaedics, surgical and women’s health clinics
- Skills and experience
- Previous Outpatient experience is preferred but not essential.
- Recent ED/ADU or A&M experience suits the Outpatient environment; Skills in post op wound care, cast care and assisting with clinical procedures is advantageous as well
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with an ability to be flexible and adaptable to the changes that occur throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commitment to providing patient centred care is a must.
