About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Registered Nurse to
join our team.
Join us and add value to our dedicated multi-disciplinary team and in return you will have the opportunity to expand on your own surgical nursing skills and experience.
We will provide you with a comprehensive orientation program which will be tailored to your needs and you will also receive support with your ongoing professional development.
About the Service
Our specialty service cares for patients requiring hand, breast and plastic surgery. We also specialise in wound management and are the Regional Burn Centre for the South Island.
The service operates Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster across morning, afternoon and nights.
About you
- 3 + years surgical experience
- Wound care or plastic burns experience is desirable
- Ability to work all shifts - Morning, Afternoon and Nights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
