About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in or is willing to develop the skills and knowledge specific to the management of high-risk foot disease.  You will work alongside our multi-disciplinary team of clinicians who deliver a high standard of care for people with high-risk foot disease.

About the Service

Waikato’s Regional Diabetes Service is made up of around 60 clinical and non-clinical team members and operates from our Clarence Street clinic in Hamilton. The service includes Adults with Type 1 Diabetes, Adult Weight management services, Diabetes in Pregnancy services, Youth and Young Adult services and an Insulin Pump team in addition to an inpatients team. We have a multi-disciplinary team-providing medical, nursing, podiatry and dietetic support to the patients within our service.


About you

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Experience working within a hospital setting
  • New Zealand practicing certificate
