Contract:  Permanent, full-time (1 FTE)

About the role

 We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role you will be expected to work in collaboration with our MDT. We provide a variety of interventions and there is opportunity to have ongoing training and development in this role. The Salary for this role is between $81,683 - $106,739 depending on experience.

The Porirua Community Mental Health Team is based in the BNZ tower in the heart of Porirua, Wellington region.

About you

We are looking for a motivated clinician who is willing to work as part of a team. It is important you will have have a high level of organisational skills as well as a commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Maori. Often the role calls for autonomy and a willingness to advocate for the people we work with. 

You will have:

  • Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)
  • A current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and scope appropriate to place of work
  • Completion of an undergraduate (leading to registration) or post graduate program in mental health or intellectual disability nursing.
