About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and empathetic Registered Nurse to work within Thames Hospital’s Chemotherapy and Outpatient service. The successful applicant will ideally have experience in chemotherapy delivery although we are willing to train the right person. This is a part time position with rostered day shifts between Mon- Fri and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts if desired.

About you
Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand; inclusive of scope of practice
- A current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
- Expected to meet a competent level of practice on the Professional Development and Recognition Programme, but may achieve a higher level of practice
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
About the Service
Thames Hospital is a secondary level hospital 100 kilometres north of Hamilton. It serves the Thames, Coromandel Peninsula, Hauraki and Paeroa areas. Thames Hospital has a 24 hour emergency department, and covers the usual range of general surgery and general medicine. Thames Hospital is part of the Waikato District Health Board.
