About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Wairoa Hospital, you will work in a rural generalist environment that supports both acute and aged residential care. Your role will involve providing high-quality, patient-focused nursing care across a diverse caseload, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective treatment. You’ll collaborate with a tight-knit, multidisciplinary team to support patients from our local community, often with complex and varied health needs.

About you

As a Registered Nurse, you will have:

  • A current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate
  • Proven clinical experience across acute and/or aged care settings
  • A flexible and adaptive approach to work in a rural hospital environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and improving equity in health
